Dolly-Parton
Dolly Parton, who was born in Locust Ridge Tenn. on the 19th of January. 19. 1946, into a poor family with 12 kids at one point, realized that she could get away from the hardships of her life by using a vivid imagination. The songs she wrote were composed before she could write or read. At the age of eight, she bought her first electric guitar and started singing at an Knoxville Tenn Radio Station. Gold Band Records is a small label that is independent. While she was studying, she established a name for herself within the local arena. But her dream was to be able to perform at a much larger size. After graduating from the high school in 1964, she immediately moved to Nashville. Dumb Blonde (1967) and Something Fishy (1968) were the first two albums to chart from Monument Records. Porter Wagoner, a syndicated TV show host in the late '60s, was looking for a singer for his program. Parton accepted the role in 1966, joined RCA Records in 1968, and then the Grand Ole Opry was founded in 1969. Then, in 1974, she left Wagoner's Show because the success of her singles like Joshua Coats of Many Colors or Jolene was way ahead of their joint release. Parton recorded I Will Always love You to Wagoner after their breakup. It made it to No. 1. for the first time in 1974.
