Amber Benson bio

Amber Benson (born April 14 in 1970) is a famous American actress, singer also a writer, director and actor. Most famously, she is best known for her character on her role in the TV show Buffy the Vampire Slayer as Tara Maclay. She also directed, produced and starred in her own film Chance and Lovers Liars & Lunatics. Also, she starred as Bride in Kiss the Bride movie. Benson was born on January 8, 1977 in Birmingham Alabama, daughter of Diane Benson and Edward Benson psychiatrist. Benson has a younger sister Danielle, who is an artist. Benson has a father who is Jewish and her mother a Southern Baptist was raised in an Alabama Reform synagogue. After Buffy came to an end, Benson has appeared in movies like The Killing Jar and on shows such as Morganville The Series. Benson also utilised her talents as a scriptwriter on her own show, the Ghosts of Albion Series and directed Drones in the year 2010. Buffy states that she's identified and counted as many as 1800 Slayers with 500 who collaborate with the Scooby Gang. Slayers can be active after their abilities are mature enough.
