Kari Samantha is an American actor, performer and singer (born on the 28th of April, 1967). She began her acting career when she was in her teens. She is most known for her character Maggie Beckett on the TV show Sliders, as well as her role as Sheriff Samantha Parker, in the horror-comedy film Eight Legged Freaks. Wuhrer was raised within Brookfield Connecticut as the daughter of Karin Noble who was employed as a pay clerk and German American Andrew Wuhrer. There are three siblings. As a teenager, she was a singer performing in clubs, sneaking away from her family in order to perform. After studying acting at the Wooster School, at 13 years old she pursued a degree in drama at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts located at Marymount Manhattan College and Columbia University. Then, she took classes in the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts under the renowned Uta Hagen. Born on April 28 on the 28th of April in Brookfield Connecticut. Her father is both an German American policeman and a salesperson for autos. Kari has three brothers and sisters. When she was just teenager, she would perform in clubs by going away from home. Kari started studying acting when she was just 13 years old. Then she studied acting at the Tisch School of the Arts located at New York University and Columbia University. Marymount Manhattan College, as well as the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art and with Uta Hagen who was a famous teacher. Kari began performing when she was in her teens, her first TV break coming in the 1987's MTV Remote Control.
