Kathrin Romany Beckinsale, born 26 July 1973.[1][2][3[3] Kathrin Romany Beckinsale is an English actress from England. After a few small television roles, her film debut was Much Ado About Nothing (1993) as a student at the University of Oxford. In addition to numerous stage and radio productions, she also appeared in British costume dramas like Cold Comfort Farm (1995), Emma (1996), and Shooting Fish (1997). Beckinsale began her film career in the United States in late 1990s. After appearing in smaller-scale dramas The Last Days of Disco (1998) and Brokedown Palace (1999), Beckinsale appeared in Pearl Harbor (2001), Serendipity (2001) and Tiptoes (2003). Then she starred in the aforementioned films with her starring parts in The Aviator (2004) and Click (2006). These films helped make Beckinsale a major actor in Hollywood. She also appeared in the films Click (2006) and The Aviator (2004). In addition, she has appeared in smaller dramas like Snow Angels (2007) and Nothing but the Truth (2008). For her two debut films she received positive reviews. 2016 was a year of high praise from critics. She was awarded the Critics' Choice Film Awards for the Best Actress in a Comedy for Love & Friendship. In action films, she returned with Jolt (2021). She was also in two television series with Jolt (2021) and The Widow (202019).
