 Ray was Rusty She performed "Let's Hear It For the Boy" from Footloose. Ray earned her Actors Equity Association (AeA) card. She played Nemo in Robert Lopez and Kristin Lopez's Finding Nemo: The Musical The Orlando's Disney World. Ray also played Olive Ostrovsky during the 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee national tour. In her last season as Crissy she was a part of the Broadway Hair cast and sang "Frank Mills". Chris made her first screen appearance in The Sparky Chronicles, a short film geared towards youth. In the TV series Pretty Little Liars, Ray was CeCe's character, who was a "beyond charming blonde stylist of twenty years old in a store that had one shoe on the market and another in the past" between 2012-2017. Ray was announced as the first to start filming again for PLL, and spoke about his decision to return, saying "It's such a blast to be a part of and what an amazing role I'm playing. It's like a psychopath. She's just 22 years old yet she hangs with high school students. It's like, 'Hey, girl! Get a life! Ray was added to the Season 4 CBS police procedural drama Blue Bloods cast in 2013 as Officer Edit Janko. She has been with the show through its 12th season.
